So here it is at long last! Chumbucket Games - a two-man dev team consisting of myself (aka GundyGuy) and my brother Matt (aka Chummscrubber) are proud to announce the first early access beta version of 'Honey I'm Comb' (yeah, both of us love a good pun as you could tell from Rocked 'n' Rolled). Honey I'm Comb is an RTS set in the kingdom of bees developed for Game Off 2021! There's still a little under a week left, so Matt and I will be dilligently working to get as much as we can across the line before then! We would both welcome any feedback you might have about all aspects of the game, as well as any bugs you find (but not the insects - they're meant to be there ;P)

Known issues:

• The game may freeze in some instances when friendly units or enemies attempt to find a path to a target location or object.
• Bees may not autonomously return to harvest resources after depositing their first batch of resources at the hive.
• Bee movement is not smooth in the overworld.
• There is currently no UI representing a location where a unit is ordered to travel to.
• There are some placeholder assets still in place for most of the hive buildings.
• Audio has not yet been added to the game. We are endeavouring to add sound effects over the weekend and will publish a new build when this is done.
• Visual effects have not yet been added to the overworld buildings to highlight damage or attacks.
• Attack animations may not repeat with consecutive attacks.
• If a player attempts to execute an invalid action eg. reassigning a worker as a drone when there is no capacity to do so or attempting to construct a hive building without adequate resources, no errors will currently be displayed on-screen.
• If a player wins or loses the game, the game is still interactable until the scene transitions.
